Tattoo at
Lucas K. Iglesias

I tattoo at Fabel Tattoo – a tattoo studio and community I founded with Emma Kristin and Annelie Koch Fransson in 2017.

The studio is located on Istedgade in Copenhagen and combines an artistic environment with a professional and safe framework.

My approach to tattooing is based on my work as a visual artist and an open, flexible process with room for your ideas - big or small.

If you want to know more about how a tattoo with me works, you can read the booking process in the section below.

Booking – Tattoo

My approach to tattooing stems from the visual expression I work with as a visual artist – organic shapes, balance and calm.

I really appreciate the craftsmanship behind each tattoo, whether it's a larger project or a simple idea. I work both from my own motifs and I'm happy to work with your ideas - the process is open and flexible, and the most important thing for me is that together we create something that feels real and personal.

No project is too small or simple.

Below you will find how a typical process works.

1. Share your thoughts

Send me your ideas – what you have in mind, where on the body, approximate size, and preferably some pictures or references if you have them. It can also be examples from my previous work that you feel connected to.

You don't have to have it all figured out – we create it together .

2. Design preparation

Based on our conversation, I prepare a design for the day. I work intuitively and openly – there is always time during the day to go over it together and adjust the details so it feels right for you.

My line is flexible, and the most important thing is that the motif feels like yours.

3. On the day

When you arrive, we take our time. We go over the design, adjust the size and placement together in front of the mirror, and find peace in the process before we get started. There is room for breaks and to breathe along the way.

The goal is for you to feel safe and present throughout the entire process.

4. After the tattoo

Once the tattoo is complete, I will guide you through the necessary aftercare so you know how to best care for your new work.

You will receive everything, both verbally and in writing – and I am always available afterwards if you have any questions.

Safety and quality

All colors and materials are registered and approved in accordance with applicable legislation.
